Podcast not updating on itunes Free chat x adult in sweden
One of the most frustrating issues podcasters have is when your podcast stops refreshing or updating on the ITunes store.
Generally, Apple requires a minimum of 24 hours before your feed gets refreshed and the current episodes appear in the ITunes directory.
I tried it on the Train Stations when I waited for trains on Tuesday Evening.
That has to do with how your browser is configured.
The feed on that page is current as of whenever Apple decided to look at our feed last, which isn't automatic and sometimes takes a day or more to update.
Or, at least, don't do that if you're planning on staying up to date with what we're doing, because it's an awful way to do that.
We have been in contact with i Tunes regarding this issue and they are currently working to isolate and rectify the issue.
However, to help ease your mind, this is strictly a display issue - meaning that although your most recent episode is not showing in the store, this only affects non-subscribers. You can verify this by simply subscribing to your own podcast and checking under "My Podcasts" for your shows.
The 24 hours that Apple requires is to actually show the episode in the directory, due to the heavy processing that their servers need to refresh all the podcasts in the system.
Later versions of i Tunes don't seem to have this problem, but if you "update podcast" and nothing new comes down (and you're sure that there's a new one out there that you don't have), you may need to quit the software and relaunch it. Thank you and good podcasting, GLHB, HAND, and all of that. i Tunes normally updates all my podcasts every other 15 minutes, so it gets downloaded automatically.
Also the i Tunes on my i Phone gets it at the same time too.
